What endears President Rody Duterte to people is his "common tao" sense of humor.
In this video, you can hear the people around the president laughing. One of the men can even be heard catching his breath as he heartily laughs. This is the kind of humor that connects well with most Filipinos.
But for the elite and the politically correct, they would find would find this kind of humor misogynistic. Personally, I don't find anything wrong with it.
Although some women will be offended by his sense of humor, there are probably much more who find it acceptable.
Culture plays a big role in what we consider funny and no one has the right to tell anyone what makes them laugh.
