Before the election, we knew there was a big drug problem, but we never anticipated that the drug problem was going to be this big.
Right now, what we are seeing is just the tip of the iceberg. So far, only drug lords operating in the Visayas have been openly identified. The Manila based drug-lords, who are the really big ones have yet to be exposed.
In the rebellion front, we are fortunate that the NPA, MILF, and MNLF respect and trust Duterte. If they didn't trust him, there would still be a lot of fighting. As a consequence, our military resources would the stretch thinly making the fight against the terrorist Abu Sayyaf and the Maute groups more difficult.
So when Duterte asked the question "Kaya nila yan?", it wasn't to brag of what he is capable of doing. It was to remind us that if Mar Roxas won the elections or if Vice-President Leni Robredo suddenly became the President we would be in really deep shit.
